Oh yeah! 10 years ago when I started there wasn’t any minimalism blogs either, or even FinCons for that matter! Haha… It’s cool to see all the new movements from over the years :) There’s a lot of CRAPPY changes that’s come into the industry too, but we’ll save those for another day and just keep to the positive here ;)

FinCon DOES sound fun. . . and to think, we didn’t even know the term “FIRE,” or much else $ related just a few years ago, and there’s actually a whole like-minded community out there! Can’t wait to eback from what you learn. Thanks also for the post share:)

Thanks J for posting these. I really enjoyed the commencement speech one – found there were a lot of valid points. Liked the comment about making a prioritization list and knocking it down to only 5 so you can really focus on them and achieve them. I also liked the point about not focusing on yourself but rather on helping others succeed- you are a prime example of this. Thanks for not only providing info but challenging us too!
