But this year, things are extra tight: Tim's flying up to a wedding and will need a rental car. So my mom sent us a $30 Amex GC she got as a rebate. We're going to use it to get a bite out.

What uber-romantic place? TGIFriday's. Seriously. Tim never gets to go, and they're having some specials. Plus we won't have to worry about getting a reservation at this late date.

Am I romantic or WHAT? (Sadly, Tim's actually excited about it. We're just kooky, I guess.)
