To date, i’ve withdrawn $35,000, and still have $20,300 in the 529 account funded by that card. A full year of college tuition paid and enough for next semester.

“But (some non-scientific survey) proves you spend 10% more by using the card!” Sure. Whatever. I retired at 50, despite my bad habits. When the kid is done with school, that card will fund college for the yet-unborn grandkids.

Last month, we were discussing working out. (I had purchased a stepper for her one year at her request and she sold it on ebay). I told her that I ride my stationary bike almost every night. Her response:

“I think that people don’t need to exercise. Just eating better is enough.”

EX GF: The Kuerig machine makes such weak shitty coffee
ME: The Technivorm Moccamaster makes a bad ass tasting coffee. It uses the ideal water temp to extract the flavors.
EX GF: Machines are for the weak. I do well by hand.

Uh, so then why was she hating on the Keurig if she makes coffee by the hand?
