I’m sad I came to this post late. I once tripped up (!) the stairs at the subway station near my work in front of an entire crowd of morning commuters. I was beet-red for the rest of the day.

Haha, that one about the credit card being stolen, the thief making charitable donations, and the victim having to ask for the money back is pretty funny. I’d feel silly, too, having to ask for the money back.

@Chris Barber – Damn, that does suck. If it makes you feel better we bought our house at the peak of the market too ;) Lost a quick $60-$100k right from the get go.

@Nick – OMG that is awesome!! Smart play w/ the “new pants fund” too – that way it seems like it’s on purpose and adds to the awesomeness of the bar scene ;) I still REALLY really want to be a bartender one day, I’ll have to get the secrets from you first.

We were on our way using a budget airline and feeling very pleased wi ourselves for getting cheap flights. Then we had two suitcases that were 2 kg heavier than the allowance each which costs us over $60. Dopey or what?
