This period of American history fascinates me greatly. I will have to grab that kindle version of the book. I’m currently reading the first volume of Mark Twain’s biography, and I love this insight into the thinking of this time period. One of my favorites is Poor Richard’s Almanac, much of which is still relevant today, and very easy reading. Thanks for sharing about this book!
